fyeahmetal This album is incredible! Despite the artwork referencing "Don't Break the Oath", the feeling is decidedly more modern, with a sort of prog/power bent. It's like Mercyful Fate crossed with, say, Nevermore - the singer's voice reminds me of Warrel Dane's, but with a thicker tone. However, the singer does hit Rob Halford-esque highs in the title track, and "Escape from Hell" recalls Painkiller-era Judas Priest. Overall, this is a wonderful update to the Mercyful Fate vibe. Favorite track: Masters of Evil.
